Foley-Safe™: Advanced Catheter Securement and Stability
Foley-Safe™ is an innovative catheter securement device developed to actively help reduce the risk of Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI) and prevent unintended Foley catheter extractions. This stabilization solution is designed to support clinicians in everyday urology care by addressing the clinical challenges associated with long-term dwelling catheters.
Advanced Movement Control: The device utilizes a specialized mechanism to absorb micro-movements, effectively reducing the mechanical stress on the catheter that can lead to irritation and infection risk.
Safety-Focused Design: In the event of sudden pulling, the integrated safety disconnection feature allows for controlled release. This is designed to protect the patient from potential bladder and urethral injury, supporting safer clinical outcomes.
Improved Patient Experience: By providing superior stability and minimizing unnecessary catheter movement, Foley-Safe™ helps reduce patient discomfort and supports an improved quality of life.
Reduces pain, and improves self-confidence and the patient’s quality of life

Testimonials
We, as Doctors, are aware of many cases in which unconscious patients are pulling out the catheter because the uncomfortable feeling it causes. By doing so they are harming themselves, causing sometime irreversible damage. FoleySafe certainly avoids such damages. Moreover, FoleySafe avoids dislodgment, and by doing so reduces drastically the danger of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI).
I examined FoleySafe carefully. Because Foley catheter is stabilized in the bladder with a balloon, the unstable balloon position may cause an uncomfortable sensation to the patient. Furthermore, in many cases, the patients have a tendency of pulling the balloon inflated catheter out of the body. The pulling out maneuver either causing damage (sometime irreversible) to the bladder and/or to the urethra. Foley-Safe can avoid these uneven situations. Since I have very good experience with FoleySafe apparatus, I can certainly recommend the usage of the FoleySafe at hospital setting for both children and adults' applications.
Unconscious urinary catheter extraction is a very frequent occurrence and with a very high potential of adverse consequences.
I have examined the latest produced FoleySafe devices and in my opinion, it is the ultimate response in order to:
•Prevent catheter dislodgment and reduce the risk of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI)
•Prevent unconscious extraction by cutting the catheter and releasing the sterile fluid from the catheter bulb
I warmly recommended the usage of the FoleySafe in the hospital I am working with. it is the best solution up to date
Before using Foley-Safe 2.0, I was constantly dealing with catheter movement, irritation and inflammation. Every small movement caused pulling, pain, and sometimes even infections that sent me back to the hospital. Since switching to Foley-Safe 2.0, I haven’t had a single UTI. The stabilizer holds the catheter securely, limits movement, and I feel so much more comfortable. Thanks to Cathetrix’s design, I’ve reduced hospital visits and can finally go about my day without pain or worry. Highly recommended
After surgery, I came home with an indwelling catheter and constant discomfort. The tube pulled, the area got sore, and I even developed mild inflammation. I was afraid to move at all. Once I started using Foley-Safe 2.0, that changed completely. The stabilizer prevented excessive movement, reduced irritation, and gave me confidence to walk again. My mobility improved, and the risk of catheter-associated UTI dropped dramatically. Cathetrix truly delivered what they promised.
Having a catheter felt embarrassing at first. I avoided going out or even moving much. When I started using Foley-Safe 2.0, I felt secure again. It holds everything firmly, so I can walk, sit, and even go for short trips without fear. It’s discreet, comfortable, and made me feel like myself again. I never realized how much confidence I’d lost until I got it back.
