For over six decades, Foley catheters have been stabilized using a simple retention balloon inside the bladder, which is associated with infections, leakage, and painful dislodgement. • Fixation – A durable adhesive patch secures the catheter externally, preventing the urine bag’s movement from affecting the urinary system. The medical patch can remain in place for up to 14 days without replacement.
